1. Our Commitment

Broadcast Media Inc dba MyHomeSale.net (“MyHomeSale,” “we”) wants everyone who is selling a home to be able to use this site — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technologies. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not an afterthought, and we treat it as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.

2. Standard We Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely accepted standard for accessible web content. We evaluate new pages and features against these guidelines and revisit existing content as the site evolves.

3. Measures We Have Taken

  • Semantic HTML: pages use proper landmarks, headings in logical order, lists, and labeled form fields so assistive technologies can interpret structure correctly.
  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element — menus, the theme toggle, forms, the net-proceeds estimator — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone.
  • Skip link: a “skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation.
  • Contrast-checked themes: both the light and dark themes are checked for sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds, and the theme choice persists across visits.
  • Reduced motion: the site respects the “prefers reduced motion” setting, minimizing animation for users who request it.
  • Alternative text: meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Visible focus indicators: keyboard focus is clearly visible so you always know where you are on the page.
  • Responsive layout: content reflows for zoom and small screens without loss of functionality, and the mobile menu is fully operable by touch, keyboard, and screen reader.

4. Known Limitations

We aim for full conformance, but we would rather be honest about the gaps than overclaim. Some limitations we are aware of: a small number of older or complex pages may have imperfect heading hierarchies or link text that could be more descriptive; interactive tools like the net-proceeds estimator, while keyboard-operable, may announce updated results less smoothly on some screen-reader and browser combinations; and content or services provided by third parties we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard. We are working through these as we find them, and reports from users are one of the best ways we find them.

5. Feedback and Assistance

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us — we genuinely want to fix it, and we can also help you get the information you were looking for in another format in the meantime.

  • Email: [email protected] (please mention the page and what went wrong)
  • Phone: (877) 634-4111
  • Mail: Broadcast Media Inc dba MyHomeSale.net, 1712 Pioneer Ave., Ste 500, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within a few business days.

6. Ongoing Effort

Accessibility work is never finished. We review the site against WCAG 2.1 AA as we add guides and features, incorporate accessibility checks into our editorial and development process, and update this statement as our practices improve.
